"A good product, but could be better"
Pros: Silk smooth navigation
Cons: Far from satisfactory menu
Summary: K790i is a great product with silver smooth navigation, has a great camera which is easy to use. Of course music player and FM radio are standard feature on any decant phone.
A s a die-hard Nokia user till recently,my measure complaints against k790i are as follows:
i) The contact potfolio is very disappointing. U can not mark two telephone nos. under same heading, i.e. if any of ur contact has two mobile phones u can not mark both of them with cellphone symbol.
Again, If u put a coma in any contact entry, it will re-arrange the entry with the word following the coma, which is at times very frustrating in searching for desired contact.
Moreever, under the contact details, u can put only one note pertaining to that contact.
Thus, the K790i's contact menu is nowhere near to easy and very intuitive contact menu available on Nokia Phones.
ii)I could assign speed dial nos. to various keys but could not find ways to dial them inspite of digging hard in the phone menu and also reffering to the written user's guide. (Can someone tell me how to do this?)
iii) Also, I couldn't find very basic feature of voice-recording in K790i !!
iv) Conversation Reception by the dialled number is not upto the mark.
And since these are the main features which I normally use in any cellphone, I find K790i a bit overhyped cellphone.
In fact the only reason I did not purchased Nokia N73me is its looks - Its dual colured keys (Mostly in Black and a few in cheap steel) simply put me off! And I am regretting my decision for not purchasing Nokia N73me
