"Lasted for more than half a decade!" on by XProflmfao

Pros: This phone is pretty sturdy for basic usage. There are a lot of features: Music Composing, Audio Recording, Games, even MMS (not common in 2003)... I have used it from 2003 all the way to 2007. 5 years, Never broke!

Cons: No Camera at all. The keys a bit small. Audio Recording is choppy and sometimes inaudible. It is already 2010, and the phone looks really old when you compare it to even the cheapest phones on sale nowadays. Somewhat sluggish at times.

Summary: Pretty cool phone for users with basic needs like calling, simple gaming and tools, and little texting here and there. Otherwise, not recommended.

    "Fabulous Phone" on by Kiyanayah

Pros: Size, Style, Interface, Sound, Icons

Cons: Nothing that I can think of

Summary: I used this phone for about 1 1/2 years. I LOVED it. I currently have a Nokia, but I really liked my T226 much better. The only reason I'm not using it right now is the fact that I dropped it in a bucket of water. ;)

This phone served me very, very well. :)

"A phone that fustruates the consumer" on by P1NKxD14M0ND

    Pros: color screen

Cons: tiny buttons, hard to manage, camera accessory is very poor

Summary: I owned this phone in 2003, then it was a very good phone for just an everyday user, but now at the end of 2005, this phone is very old and lacks what the "modern" phones have.

I suggest if you're thinking of buying a candy-bar shaped phone, with a color screen look at the Nokia 3595 its a bit of an update from this phone and the buttons are a lot larger. The Nokia also has inter-changable faceplates.

"Goods Basic Phone" on by DaMang111

Pros: Long battery life, dowloadable ring tones, graphics, themes and games, color screen

Cons: No camera, not flip, small buttons (which could also be a pro)

Summary: The T226 is a very basic but reliable phone. it has all the features that an everyday user needs, phone book, text messages, ring tones, call list, and even some games. There is an optional camera attachment that I find bulky and just not with the cash. Phone also has some ring tones standard, but they're bad so I'd recommend dowloading new ones. Although polyphonic, their still good. Great phone!
