"Low sound volume and terrible signal strength"
Pros: keypad, volume controls, camera controls, battery
Cons: poor picture quality, low volume, easyily scratched, signal strength
Summary: I switched from a Nokia 8265 to the T637 and the Ericcson phone is inferior in every way. Most importantly the volume is terribly low, with the phone in your pocket it's impossible to hear the ring and with any background noise it's impossible to hear someone speaking.
The Bluetooth signal strength is terrible. I could only get about 3 feet from the phone before they would lose connection. The signal strength is the poorest of any of the previous phones I've had. The T637 cannot get reception in my house, yet Nokias and Motorolas can.
The picture quality is a joke. Pictures come out horribly grainy and are useless for any purpose. The plastic front is very soft and you'll have to baby it to keep it from being scratched to heck.
I will say the battery is excellent, the best of any phone I've had. Even after a few years it's still going strong and holds a charge for about 3 days. The keypad is a nice size and the keys are slightly rounded. The toggle is a bit weak and easy to bump in the wrong direction. Phonebook entries are not sortable and accessing frequently called numbers is more awkward than on Nokia phones. Phones should be judged on usability, not just looks, and this phone falls short on usability.
