"Best value for money...Can't top that!"
Pros: Stylish handset, futuristic interface, MP3 player, light, 2megpixel cam, flash light, AM/FM radio, USB port, and much more
Cons: USB/Charger adapter
Summary: I bought this handset 2 weeks ago when I was down in Singapore. Got it for US$500 and got with it an anti-scratch for the screen, cost me about 7 bucks and an extra battery for 25 bucks (very important).
Folks, I've always owned hi-end handsets and this one tops them all so far. It operates in a dual mode. You can use it as a separate MP3 player and not have the phone on (good when you're flying like me), and also can have the player function while the phone is on. One of the coolest features is that when you're listening to a song and you get an incoming call, it'll beep and pause the song for 1 second and allow you either to take the call or just simply ignore the caller (especially your ex
)and keep enjoying the music. It has 5 equalizers and you can custom it as well. Has megabass and tons of other sound effects.
The interface is very futuristic and very easy to navigate. My friends were all wowed with how it looked. Internal memory is 32mb in addition to a 512MB memory stick! You can watch video clips on it and has plenty of storage.
The cam shoots very crisp shots with a flash that will light up the entire room. There's also a flash light built-in if you wanna read anything in the car, or if you're trying to find your keys.
A USB port interface is provided with software as well (and file manager). Easy to install and once it's functioning it's a snap to upload songs on the handset. When I'm working on the laptop the USB port also serves as a charger, so I don't have to lug the wallwart adapter! Now how cool is that??
I figured I'm getting an MP3 player, a highly stylish handset, and a cam for $500! Can't beat that. Folks, you gotta check it out in the store and you'll know what I'm talkin about, it's a breakthru!

Sony Ericsson W800i is not for the US market as it is Triband 900/1800/1900 Mhz capable whereas in US it is still 850/1900 Mhz used. So the reception will not be good especially in the rural areas.
