Pros: Very good camera, calender, web browser and decent Walkman

Cons: Poorly designed interface, very quiet, no stereo Bluetooth, no lens cover

Summary: It takes a concerted effort to get the hang of this phones interface. It takes too many steps to do basic things and there doesn't seem to be much thought put into usability. The volume is VERY low and you have to change volume settings on everything separately (vs. global volume control) and some alerts or reminders can't be changed at all. The camera does a great job as long as there's plenty of light but Sony thought it would be a good idea to remove the lens cover, and unfortunately, the phone is so small, it's easy to stick your finger into the lens with normal use.
There is a shortcut menu where you can place you own shortcuts, but it limits you to only the top level of the regular menu. Kind of a waste since the shortcut to the main menu is one click and to make a new shortcut (which can go no lower than the main menu anyway) would take 2 clicks to get to the same place! This is the kind of Sony stupidity that they have built into all of their new products over the past few years.
I've yet to get any video or PlayNow to work at all but the web browser and email work beautifully.
I sync this phone with iCal and Address Book on my Mac over Bluetooth and it is a total breeze which required about 30 seconds to set up.
I've been playing with this phone for about 6 weeks now and I really do love it, despite it's deficiencies. The purchase of a Bluetooth headset it REQUIRED if you want to use this phone in anything but a quiet room and the speakerphone is useless.
Like all Sony products, this one is about 90% there. It's a really great phone that if they just let an actual person handle it for a day or two before finalizing the designs, it would be perfect.
