"One of the very best"
Pros: Excellent design quality, sharp display, extensive yet easy to use GUI, very good call quality, wide range of Bluetooth functions, IRDA, good PIM capability, EDGE, world phone, good battery life
Cons: Obsolete voice command method
Summary: Kent German got it right in his review. The only down side is the voice command: you have to say the names for the phone to learn them. This approach has been replaced by automatic voice recognition but S-E still uses the old method. What's worse, even if one tries to record a name in a quiet place, the phone asks for an even quieter location (a grave?). Other than that it is a fantastic phone.Updated
In spite of careful usage, those little plastic prongs in the battery door shore off. This door is a bit flimsy and must be treated very carefully. Customer support proved very responsive and a replacement battery cover door is on the way.
