"WHAT A SHAMEFULLY BIASED REVIEW!" on by trajoj

Pros: Looks intriguing. Interesting. Google Product: what else can I say.

Cons: Horrible reporting, horrible review, horrible bias on CNET's part. Most biased review I've seen in a long time.

Summary: i was shocked reading the review! It was as biased as the worst political campaign ads I see on TV! Except this is for a cell phone? Everything about it- down to the way things are worded was ridiculous

"cnet, can you get your head out of apple's hind side?" on by cobainfan220

Pros: amazing os, touchscreen, threaded messaging, so fast on 3g

Cons: 3g not everywhere, battery heats up very quickly when charging.

Summary: I'm sorry to do this, I know that this isn't a review so much as a way to say that CNET has a completely biased review. I really expect more out of a site that I have come to for UNBIASED reviews as the website used to advertise. I have made so many purchases based on reviews from this very site, but to go out of your way to compare this to a phone that will probably never be touched because anything Apple does is like the 2nd coming of Christ, according to all the teeny boppers and fanboys out there. I really expected more out of cnet.

Bottom line, the phone is amazing and not like anything most people have ever used Try it for yourself and don't believe a review that mentions the word, "Iphone," over 30 times. This was supposed to be an article about the pros and cons of the g1 not a "g1 vs iphone," article.

    complete crap.

"I have it I love it" on by Solvsjterne

Pros: The price was low compared to phones like the blackberry and the wing. It has true html capability. Its fast, secure and it looks nice in person. The Apps are great..my personal favorite is the cocktail app.

Cons: Not Used to the key board

Summary: It doesn't have stereo blue tooth but it does have blue tooth...who needs stereo blue tooth when you are sticking it on one ear? And most of the bad ratings are from people who of course never even had any experience with the phone. Which is unreliable. Go play with it when it comes out and make your own opinion. I think i like it more than the iphone

"Decent looking phone but it's all about 3G" on by ksustarling

    Pros: Not your ordinary OS
    QWERTY keyboard and touchscreen
    T-Mobile 3G
    Neat Google apps

    Cons: Ordinary looking phone
    No stereo bluetooth
    No desktop software
No 3.5mm headphone jack (Why, why, why?)

Summary: This phone looks like a great beginning to what may/should come from the Android OS. The phone is not as good looking as the iPhone but at least it allows you to MMS. I have a 1stGen iPhone and although I think it's great, no MMS is unexcuseable plus you have to jailbreak/unlock to add neat features that should be standard on the phone. I have very good T-Mobile coverage in my area and no AT&T coverage (not yet but supposedly coming "very soon" according to Best Buy rep) so I may keep my T-Mobile service and get this one. Android does look a little plain but that is okay by me. I don't care about syncing with corporate mail since this is not permissible at my organization on a non-issued device. Hopefully this phone and more importantly the OS will open the door for more customization of cell phones for all carriers. I think I'll try and pre-order now....
