"Good, Even for Adults!!" on by Badgertale
Pros: Just the right size for medium to small hands. Syncs with Outlook. Push mail.
Cons: No steaming video. No video capture.
Summary: Tired of small screens and endless taping to get to the right letter or number or special character? Sidekick LX is something you should consider, then.
GPS? Okay, do you get lost, frequently? I don't, but from time to time it is nice to get onto Google Maps or Mapquest to find directions. No GPS needed. Besides, I am concerned about privacy. Gee, what if I drive off a cliff and need to find me via GPS? Can't answer that one but if you are terribly worried then don't get the Sidekick.
Video. I would have liked to see this feature. Even smaller phones have this option. Come on big-T. Get with the program.
The screen is awesome! Easy on the eyes and wep web pages arrive fairly fast...faster than previous models, too.
I am not a fan of M$ Mobile because it crashes frequently and I have to say that the Danger Inc. operating system seems to handle instant messaging far better than others.
I even had the Helio Ocean for a few weeks and found it to be complicated, slow and frequently crashed.
Overall I give the updated Sidekick LX a 9 out of ten for its ease of use, full qwerty keyboard, crystal clear display, great "always on" instant messaging, push mail and web navigation complete with bookmarks and features like "send page to," and "send page as link."
I also don't know where people get the idea that this thing is only for kids?
