"Over all this is a Verizon Phone on the V-Cast Network" on by KBM37AW

Pros: Calls are Clear and Great, No Drop Calls, this is a PLus....Excellent Battery life...this is also a Plus...For alittle Phone

Cons: The Fonts on the phone are alittle small, even when set to large

Summary: Friday 5/26/06.....I have had this phone now, for 1 week Total, and over All...The calls that I have received sound Great, sounds like the home phone...very Clear, but this is due to the V-Cast network with Verizon(Great new system). The Menu is easy to use and get use to, If you had the LG4400 phone, it is very simular. The keypad is a nice Green..not bad. The Fonts it self, could be alittle bigger...so please be ready to read alittle bit closer than normal, but over all...As for Phone Calls..This Phone is Great, even though it is the same size as the LG4400, perhaps a inch smaller, but otherwise A-OK. Now it does come with a camera, and Trans-Flash on the side for Downloading Music and Pictures, this is a great Feature...even though I am not really interested in the Music Factor nor Picture capability...I just wanted a decent phone, to receive calls with no problems in sound or making a call with no Drop Calls, and this Phone is Definitely a winner, when it comes to that fact. This is a Audiovox Phone, and the Quality is Great, plus it is on the V-Cast Network, thanks to Verizon...Makes it a Plus Factor. If you want a phone, simular to the LG4400..with great Quality...This is a Winner of a Phone in a Nice Package(Flip Phone)..Not a Razor, but Still Does the Work of One. It also has a nice Speaker(Mono)for when on the Road, nice Feature, and it does work pretty nice. If you are interested in the Music Situation, you can still download Music, and it does has a Trans-Flash Opening, for Flash Cards for storing Pictures, as Well as your Great Music Tunes..to listen to , at your own conveinance...Over All...This is Not A Bad Phone..Not bad for a V-Cast Phone, even though in a Small Package....Check it Out for Yourself...Judge for Yourself...I think that you won't be Disappointed, If you just wanted to get and receive a Great Call, that Sounds like a Home Phone, instead of a Cell Phone....This is a Great Product...Thankyou.......Audio-Vox, and Verizon-V-Cast Network.....

"Best Phone From UTStarcom" on by Indigo_Blue_X

Pros: Long Battery Life, Packed with Multimedia Features, Mobile IM

Cons: No Bluetooth support, No trendy Sub LCD.

Summary: The CDM8945 isnt just the standard John Doe phone. From Verizon, this little EVDO flip phone is jam-packed with ready to go features that include its V Cast Music Service, Pix and Flix, and other web savvy content. The battery life [in standby mode]is exquisite, lasting roughly 2 1/2 to 3 days before requesting a charge. Talk time may be significantly less. The 8945 also includes a 330,000K Megapixel camera. It can be a little fuzzy, but can hold true quality. It does come with an external speakerphone, excellent for calls while out on the road, although not 'Driving mode' capable. A Transflash card slot is mounted on the lower right side [viewed directly from the front, as storage for pictures, sounds, music, and the like.

This phones exterior could use a little color [besides standard black], size adjustment, a better, customizable sub LCD Screen, and bluetooth support. The old green-backlit rubber keypad could also use an update to something a little more flat and appealing to define its appearance.

Overall, its a pretty sweet phone that wont ding your wallet!

"It is large, bulky and is a cheap cell phone overall." on by dancerali10

Pros: It has big keys and a camera.

Cons: It has a short battery life, limited/small memory and the silver paint on the front scratches easily.

Summary: It is a bad phone and I don't recommend it.
