"Poor at best...." on by NGC2359
Pros: Can't think of any! Seriously.
Cons: Where do I start... you can't name each phone, the phone fades in and out on every call (REALLY annoying), poor range. No "beep" indication of a message waiting, no message # counter. Really stupid totally un-thought out user interface.
Summary: I did LOTS of research and picked this phone - really bad mistake. Even though it's only a year old I am now looking to replace it - with a home business I can't keep asking my customers to repeat something because they faded out (and no - it's not because they're on a cell phone - I've checked - although that is exactly what it sounds like).

"Good Phone - Be sure Batteries are Fresh" on by Wilco40
Pros: Speakerphone on Base
Voice/Audible Caller IDCons: Limited contacts in address book
Summary: After 2 years my phones started dropping calls. I discovered it was the rechargeable batteries which only have a life of approx. 2 years. At first I was not happy because Panasonic charged $15 for a pair which would mean $60 to replace the batteries for all the phones. However, I was able to find compatible Ni-MH 700mah batteries online at $5 a pair. Once I replaced the batteries, the phones operated fine and no longer dropped calls. Fro reference, I found the batteries at www.dinodirect.com. It's a Chinese wholesale so it took a couple of weeks to deliver but 10 new batteries for $25 as compared to $75, it was worth the extra shipping time.

"Avoid this product" on by and321321
Pros: none that I can find
Cons: I needed to replace my old uniden DECT phone as the buttons had worn out making dialling difficult. I purchase this Panasonic unit and have been very disappointed. The main problem is the very poor receive audio making it very hard to hear the person on
Summary: Overall a very disappointing experience as I have found other Panasonic products to be good. I find it hard to believe the reviewer of this product actually used the equipment.

"The batteries do not work and make the product unusable" on by judy3939
Pros: If you can't rely on the batteries to stay charged after charging for 7 hours, nothing else matters.
Cons: The batteries in the handsets will not stay charged, even after 7 hours of charging (as prescribed).
The base unit is lacking a speaker, thiss is necessary when either you can't find a handset or the handsets aren't charged (recurring problem).Summary: After charging for 7 hours, the batteries just go out when trying to use the handset. This continually happens with all the handsets. Something is critically wrong with the Panasonic batteries and Panasonic needs to address this. I exchanged my product for a new one thinking that I had a defective one, but the exchanged one did the exact same thing. I have an older Panasonic cordless phone set (3 handsets in total) and this never was a problem with them. In fact, the reason I bought my second set of Panasonic phones is that I was happy with my first one.
