"Finally, extensions for my cell phones!"
on by actlPros Easily connected two cell phones to this device and they work fine.
Cons A little pricey but worth it!
Summary I've been looking forever for something that would let me have extensions for my two cell phones and this is it. Set up was a breeze and my wife and I have separate ring tones for our cell phones. Sound quality is excellent. A land line can also be connected but I have gotten rid of mine now.

"Not perfect, but one of the few playing the game"
on by flowersjPros cell phone usage from the home phone giving extensions to the cell phone
fairly easy to set up
works well with both landline and cellCons Can only connect up 2 bluetooth devices at a time, may have up to four bluetooth devices paired
Can NOT use a bluetooth headset with a bluetooth enabled cell phone while EITHER are paired with the DS6321Summary Can only connect up 2 bluetooth devices at a time, may have up to four bluetooth devices paired (profiles established, but not "paired up" for use)
Can NOT use a bluetooth headset with a bluetooth enabled cell phone while EITHER are paired with the DS6321
The phone OCCASIONALLY does not auto pair (auto connect) to bluetooth devices
The directory downloaded from the bluetooth enabled phones do not distinguish the type of entry for each number it downloads. My phone allows home, work, cell1, cell2, etc. The entries only appear in the 6321 as the name of the entry with each different phone number type.
When using a bluetooth headset on a landline call and I mistakenly place the handset in the cradle, the call is diconnected. I think if a all is in progress with a headset, hanging up the handset should NOT disconnect the phone.
I CAN access my cell carriers voicemail and CAN key in my passcode
I did NOT expect the DS6321's voicemail to perform as a voicemail for my cell phone, that is included with my cell phone plan
I can NOT speak as to the answering machine/voicemail feature, I have it turned off and use my landline/cell provider's voicemail
My landline is VOIP and this phone works perfectly fine.
Over all, I like the phone. I have been buying Vtech phones for the last several years and am quite pleased. I upgraded from my old Vtech system (which I use for 4 additional extensions) to get the bluetooth features. -
"Feeature set is misleading"
on by ericksmiPros Easy set up, good voice quality over bluetooth, eay pairing to cellphone
Cons Spent exta money to get model with answering machine only to find that it doesn't work with bluetooth cellphone. This is mentioned nowhere in the description of the phone
Summary Good product, but misleading description of features
Soryy to have more bad news about this product, but I have now found that when trying to check cell voicemail, after dialing the number for my mailbox, I cannot enter my password. Even though I enter the password, the voicemail does not receive it. So the only way to check voicemail is to use the cell phone itself.
