"Bought this for the bedroom and love it."

3.5 stars  | on by killeth

Pros

ALL the connections you need for a bedroom TV. Composite, component, svideo and coax make it easy to hook up. Very light weight.

Cons

Seperate SVideo input shares audio with line 1 composite input. Really huge base for this size/weight LCD. It covers my cable box entirely. SRS enabled sound is too low.

I really enjoy this TV, currently looking for a larger one to put in the master bedroom. 1080i from an xbox 360 is drop dead gorgeous. Once you see this TV in HD you dont want to view TV in any other way. Has RCA audio outs and an earphone jack. I tried connecting both to a Logitech x230 speaker setup and prefer the earphone jack because you can control the volume from the remote. The SRS enabled speakers sound great at first but soon fade out a bit causing you to raise up the volume. 480p is quite blurry, 720p and 1080i is nearly identicle in sharpenss and quality. Havent tried the TV Tuner yet so no comment there. PC gaming on this box is great too. You can do PIP if you have a computer hooked up to it. Image quality is great for a daily TV. When you go 720p or 1080i you will notice an increase in sharpness and an overall darkening of the image. i had to raise the brightness level a bit. Shadows are a bit dark in HD. Hope this helps. It my first review.
