"No Canon Support for OS X Lion" on by ohmang
Pros: Need printer driver to confirm.
Cons: No printer driver support for OS X Lion.
Summary: this is what Canon Support wrote back:
"Thank you for your inquiry. We value you as a Canon customer and appreciate the opportunity to assist you. We regret to hear that you are experiencing difficulty locating a Macintosh OS X Lion drivers for your SELPHY CP760.
Unfortunately, Macintosh OS X 10.7 drivers are not planned for your
product. We apologize for the inconvenience this causes you."
even the new SELPHY CP800 does not have a driver for the OS X Lion. Come on Canon, my printer is not old! -
"NO support for Mac Lion. Unacceptable." on by techtoy777
Pros: Great Print Quality
Cons: Does NOT, and will NOT work with Mac Lion. Shame on Canon for NOT informing their customers about this fact!
Summary: Based on the Canon web site as of December 21, 2011, this is still a current product. A pinter driver is essential to the working of a printer. Not enabling Mac users to use this product... I am at loss for words. No more Canon products for me.

"Was good with Snow Leopard" on by fernemer
Pros: None - as Canon does not plan to update driver
Cons: A lot - as I bought this printer short time befor Lion was released
Summary: Don't buy it if you work with Mac-Lion or Windows 7 with VMWareFusion. Canon does a very bad job here!

"Like all Canon dye sublimation printers...EXCELLENT" on by nopcbs
Pros: Dye sublimation means excellent and durable picture quality...better than most photo labs and comparable in price. Much better than ink jets.
Cons: A little slow to print. Screen could be larger.Only does 4x6 and business card. No indexing on display is a nuisance.
Summary: Like all Canon's dye sublimation printers, the 760 produces superb 4x6 pictures. You can get it for as little as $40 if you hunt around and a 108-pack of paper/film costs $30 or less. This is great performance at a great price, folks.
