"Excellent performance, easy to use"
Pros: Very fast meeting setup, exceptional display, great licensing model, Outlook integration
Cons: Fewer features than WebEx
Summary: Having used WebEx for over 3 years at the corporate level, we finally gave up after a string of server failures, booted users and failed connections. We have now bundled GoToMeeting with their GoToMyPC service to replicate WebEx meetings and their AccessAnywhere product. Both GoToMeeting and GoToMyPC are much easier to use. Since we never used video or IP calling for WebEx meetings, there is no loss in functionality for us with GoToMeeting. CITRIX's desktop sharing is far superior to WebEx's - there's no loss of image quality due to compression, and the mouse tracking feature when you're in remote control is very helpful. Getting into a meeting is effortless - a couple of clicks from the task bar or Outlook and the meeting has started. Our experience was that WebEx's web portal is very slow and it can take a minute or two to get going. Scheduling meetings with GoToMeeting is easy too - it uses Outlook integration, whereas WebEx uses a complex 9 step web-based wizard (where the default is to use their expensive teleconference portal!). GoToMeeting is very well priced, and the toll-call-only voice bridge is a significant saving over WebEx's costly teleconferencing service. There are no overage charges - WebEx meetings got very expensive when more than our licensed number of users joined. With GoToMeeting the product is licensed per host, not per attendee, which is a big deal with even medium sized groups. And finally the people - WebEx failed to ever get us a single point of contact and we regularly got lost in a "service" pool, no one ever knowing our history. Even a guy under their CTO couldn't get us sorted out. The people at CITRIX Online have been great - very helpful and friendly, and the have responded very fast to questions. We were up and running within the hour of signing up. It's early days but the switch feels like 100% the right thing to do.

We are changing from Webex to Citrix GoToMeeting as their terms and conditions seem much better after we got stung for another years service with out any notification of Webex subscription coming up for renewal.
Read the T and C's is my advice
