Manufacturer description
TERM for UNIX is a complete solution for communication between UNIX, Microsoft Windows and DOS systems, allowing terminal or workstation users access to any modem attached to the host, to communicate with any networked UNIX system across the LAN or the Internet and to transfer files.
TERM for UNIX has the most advanced asynchronous file transfer protocols available. Its high-performance, proprietary TERMcrc and WTERMcrc protocols give the fastest, most reliable, restartable file transfers. Industry-standard protocols like X-, Y- and Zmodem and Kermit offer compatibility with users and systems using other communications facilities. With WTERMcrc restartable file transfers, lost modem connections don't result in lost money. Line by line file transfers allow files to be uploaded and downloaded to systems without any communications. TERM for UNIX also includes file transfer client and server programs, developed with NetScript, Century Software's application development language.
