Pros: Black, larger HD than 'Arcade', HDMI output
Cons: Hardware problems weren't addressed.
Summary: I'm going to be straight-forward. I support Sony. If this makes me a fan-boy in your eyes, so be it. However, I'm going to keep this very non-fanboy-ish. I just need to say my peace somewhere...
I'm a gamer at heart. Love to play video games, I do. The Xbox seems like a great machine, and probably has the PS3 beat in some areas, like graphics. I honestly wouldn't mind having an Xbox, simply so I could play the undoubtedly awesome games that aren't available for the PS3. But, how can I justify paying for the system (and maybe a Live membership) when I'm aware of the failure rate and how long it takes for the RMA cycle to complete? If none of this were the case, Microsoft would have in me another customer - and from what I hear, a very pleased one.
This is the core of my humble opinion: In my eyes, until Microsoft addresses these issues, especially the hardware problems, this system will remain inferior to the PS3.
