Summary through out the 4 years iv had my xbox 360 halo 3 edition i had thought it was going to had problems at first but now that i have it its been 4 years and i have had nor red rings of death and no broblems with the half teribite hard drive.

Pros Fancy Halo look, the shiny orange looks pretty awesome and it's a good conversation starter. Comes with a few dashboard downloads (avatar/background) other than that it's just the same as the normal models of its time.

Cons I thought maybe it had better construction as many 360's around me RROD and mine did not. that however changed a few days ago. I hadn't turned it on for a day or 2 and it RROD'd. I restarted it and it got to the dashboard and informed me of an update to b

Summary I don't think I will ever waste my money on a "special edition" ever again. although it lasted 4 years without red ringing on me; it came out of nowhere with no warning whatsoever and is now beyond the warranty. Microsoft will not even look at the console without shelling out another $100. Funny how this all happened shortly after applying a gamecard for the gold live account as well as recently having downloaded some DLC. This is not how a company keeps customers.

Then again I am one of at least many hundred thousand customers so I'm sure I am insignificant to such a large company. but hopefully this review will make anyone interested in buying one of the older models think twice before dropping a wad of cash on it.

Pros Speed, picture quality, and just the over all appearance of the unit was spectacular.

Cons The fan was noisy, I had the red rings, the wait to get my unit back from microsoft was too long.

Summary I would definitely purchase the unit again. Maybe next time I buy a new system I will wait to buy, so the kinks are worked out.

Pros It obviously looks amazing. I really love the paint job, and I would be bored with any other color. It's very quiet compared to other 360's, and usually runs pretty fast and smoothly.

Cons I have gotten the RROD twice now. However, it's not unique to this type of 360, so I wouldn't let that affect my decision if going back to by another console.

Summary I love this console, and I have had very few problems with it. Obviously, it's somewhat expensive, but worth the money. I really love the paint job on it, and a lot of detailed work was put into the console's appearance. I strongly recommend this console.
