Microsoft Xbox 360 Pro (20GB)

Pros: great graphics and easy to use

Cons: i'd give it a "10" except for the noisy fan

Summary: i held off buying this thing since i am a casual gamer and did not want a noisy beast in my living room. well the ps3 came out but there aren't any games yet (for me) plus it's impossible to get so i looked at this xbox again.

although i am casual, i really like the games i do finally decide to try. and there are currently five or so i want! so i started with "double agent" and on the easy setting it's a blast for me.

the graphics on my sony 50" HDTV are great. audio thru the TV or my stereo is also great.

the fan is not noticeable during game play. it's a design flaw, however, and will limit any of the expansive stuff MS wants to market such as movie and music downloads.

the box itself looks unelegant but that is just aesthetics and won't bother most "kids".

by next year, the ps3 may have a lot of killer games out so the competition will be whether or not MS can keep the momentum going with (so far) great games!
