    "Oooohhh...." on by matthew.cheese

    Pros: Tiny size, bright screen battery, pretty much everything else

    Cons: The ability to not play GB and GBC games :(

    Summary: When I first saw this I didn't really pay much atention, as I was more intorested in the DS.
    Yet, when I saw it compared to the others, I knew I had to get it.

    The screen is really bright, and only a little smaller.

    The only thing that I don't like is that you can't play the old games. But that's why I'll keep my other GBs.

    It is tiny, tiny, tiny. It's smaller than the PSP's screen. Plus it has faceplates.
    I expect this to sell a lot.

    Overall, if your just looking for a normal gaming system this is for you. The PSP does way more than gaming, and DS is not really....normal.

    At a great price this is a must have.

    "Sleek and portable" on by ketch

    Pros: It's great looking, interchanging faceplates, IT'S a GBA so access to 700+ great games, the best display gba has ever had & rechargeble Li-Ion battery

    Cons: NO CONS, it hasn't come out!

    Summary: It's a remake of the GameBoy Advance and I can't wait for it to come out, I'm sure it will have a reasonable price, because after all the hardware specs are the same as the original and SP, well except for the screen.

    It is definetly the original GBA killer.

    Great color offering, very portable and thus easy to carry, I honestly can't say anything bad about it, it's a revamp and a good one at that, already my girlfriend asked me to buy her one, and she's not a gamer so I understand Nintendo's claim that it has a market.

    Since it hasn't come out I guess we still have to wait and see, but don't bash it, and don't bash the screen size, you play games on your cell phone and this screen is bigger than most cell phones screens out there.

    "Very Portable" on by Glorybox3737

    Pros: Small size, bright screen, user replaceable rechargeable battery, light weight, solid build

    Cons: Lack of accessories

    Summary: I bought the Nintendo Micro Famicon edition and I'm very happy with it, more so than I expected to be. I needed something that I could easily put in my pocket and play when i felt it was convenient. The Micro provides exactly that. It's about the size of an iPod Nano (if you were to turn the Nano sideways) perhaps half an inch longer and it's double the thickness of the Nano. I was quite shocked at the size. I'm a girl with very small hands so I have no problems handling the Micro. I haven't suffered from any hand cramps, except after playing it for eight hours straight...

    The quality is excellent. Metal casing, very responsive buttons, and a wonderfully bright screen. My biggest fear of the Micro was that the screen would be difficult to read. I was wrong. The screen is so bright and sharp that I can read the words on my RPG games without my glasses on. The sound from the Micro can go very loud with or without headphones. The longest my battery has gone has been eight hours. It still had juice in it, I'm not sure how much longer it could have gone.

    Even though I bought this to play on the road, I find myself playing it all around the house. The light size adds to the enjoyment of portable gaming. I used to have a DS but that was a brick. So huge and not convenient to carry around. The Micro is my definition of portable. The one problem I have with it, and this is not towards the Micro it self, is the lack of accessories. Right now I am stuck with a silicone case that collects dust like a magnet. I wish there where more options for cases. Other than that I find no fault with the Micro at all. It's turned out to be everything I wanted and more.

    "The birth of it all..." on by Gumpei Yoko

    Pros: Its creativity, simplicity, geniality, and technology involved;

    Cons: Batteries should be easier to find on the market;

    Summary: When Mr. Gumpei Yoko launched on the market the very first handheld LCD system, back in 1980, he knew exactly what he was doing: Offering people an electronic device to entertain them while they were out, on their way to work, inside of a bus or a train. In fact, just a few years before Ball, the very first Game & Watch, was launched Mr. Yoko was literally inside a train going to work, when watching working men playing with their pocket calculators in the way to work, just to spend time, he got the idea to build a simple device wich people could play with, instead of counting numbers only, or thinking of the bills they had to pay...
    Brilliant! Magnific! And... simple! Just like Game Boy Micro is. By the way, what is it but a simple and incredible piece-of-work? A toy! One of the greatest we will ever see.
    Congratulations, Nintendo! Congratulations, Mr. Gumpei Yoko! May all the "after generations" fell a little of your geniality on each game they play.

    "Not a good idea" on by rfmahoney

    Pros: Compact, Backwards Compatible

    Cons: Too Small, Outdated,

    Summary: I had one of the original Gameboys like alotta you guys years back. Back in the day when the colour was ONE colour: spinach green. (monotone baby)

    But this looks like the 5th or 6th generation of Gameboy, and I mean..how many incarnations of this system are they gonna do? Especially without really making any significant changes! I mean, they add like one or two buttons, they add colour, the change shape...but you could've done that in one upgrade.

    Nintendo shouldn't on it's 6th Gameboy, it should be on it's 2nd version of PSP if anything. Something that has grown technically wise instead of retreading what it's already used. This is the same company who used Mario as it's flagship. Well that was all good when we were 16, but I grew!

    Time for the comany to grow too.
