Pros DVD disc is the best decision the big N has made in a long time...
Cons To be seen?
Summary I think Nintendo is heading in the right direction ditching media that has very little memory capacity thus enabling game developers to have more freedom to make better games! The next big step in my opinion is to patch up their relationships with big third party developers like, SQUARE-ENIX, CAPCOM, KONAMI, TECMO, NAMCO. Besides, the games that those companies made when they developed for the BIG N were better than when they developed for that PS2 and XBOX!!!! Remember Final Fantasy on the Super NES???
Pros Come on, It's Nintendo, kiddie or not, Nintendo should be in every household.
Cons Games are mainly First Party Developed
Pros sexy! its nintendo
Cons cant play my wonderful n64 games on it.
Summary i am officially in love.
Pros fun innovating controls, backwards compatable, easy to set up
Cons no dvd player, some games don't use full motion sensative controls, online play sucks, worst next gen. graphics available, games easily grown out of
Summary The Wii is fun, for a while. But then after you played the mario games and Zelda games and Mario and Zelda games, it really doesn't have as much kick as the PS3 or the Xbox 360, if you have young gamers or you have kids and you don't want them sitting around then this would be a good choice, until they're tennagers then they ask for a 360/PS3.
Pros High fun level, very smart technology
Cons Graphics aren't great
Summary When first purchasing the Wii, i could see why it is so in demand. The "package" costing $250 + tax includes all the necesities to hook up your Wii, plus a Wii remote + joystick (also called Nunchuck), and a free game - Wii Sports. Through Wii sports, you are able to get a feel for the Wii. Though it gets a little boring after a bit, Wii Sports is a great way to learn how the Wii works. The graphics on the Wii aren't as advanced as the PS3 or XBox360, but for $250, much less than the PS3 ($599) or the XBox 360, it is well worth the price.
Those who don't usually play games, like my parents and grandparents for instance, are able to compete with their children, who have grown up with them. Now, newcomers are able to play the games, instead of watch them. The versatility is endless. Its great with parties..though the controllers might send you back a few dollars (Wii Remote is $40, and the nunchuck is another $20). All in all, this is a great gift to buy for yourself or another, and something that will be used constantly-built for everybody!
