"5 rating just like i did with the Xbox360"3.5 starson by icspeedracer
Pros: CPU is a power house, GPU is strong, design is nice to look at in real life (thanks Sony E3 pressconference), game franchises will be there
Cons: What's the price?, will it actually use the HD this time around Sony??? (PS2 HDD support sucked), where's the plans for the online community?
Summary: Both the PS3 and Xbox 360 are going to be power houses with different designs in terms of the tech inside, but I feel (at least for me) Sony will have more of the games that I want. Right now, not knowing what Sony is going to do for online play MS has the upper hand in terms of services for multiplayer and additional stuff for games with the Xbox Live service. Sony is looking good though with an interesting technology in Cell if the developers can learn to program for it well, the GPU is basically an enhanced, overclocked 7800GTX with 512mb of ram to use, and I just hope that the controller is very good to use because it doesn't look good at all in pictures or in real life. The console itself is slick and looks to be a nice addition to a living room entertainment center. Lets just hope Sony delivers with the HDD add on this time instead of letting it die like the PS2 HDD
