"Was it worth my money?..."
3.0 starson by Alegoo92Pros: Great speed, great graphics, blu-ray drive (the system costs less than most blu-ray drives alone do), wireless gamepad, free online multiplayer, media center, many promised titles....
Cons: Motion sensitivity has too many bugs, lack of release titles, jolty graphics in media center, WAY too expensive to reach the general market... thus I cant play online with many.
Summary: I bought my Xbox 360 over the summer, my Wii in December (not xmas), and my PS3 a week ago. So far, I like the Wii the best.. here's why i think PS3 doesnt match my Wii.
I am very happy with the graphics on the Wii, though they dont meet PS3's caliber. So the advanced graphics dont wow me as much. The motion sensitive gameplay in some games is just sub-par on the PS3, while its magnificent on the Wii (like in Zelda: Twilight Princess). Sony did not win in gameplay..
Even though the PS3 is said to have many more titles, and the Wii isnt for mature gameplay, I havent seen that in my experience. I cant really find what im looking for on my PS3, and games like Red Steel for Wii are so great with wireless intuitive gameplay and overall experience. So Sony did not win in selection either...
The price of buying accesories for each I think totaled at 350 for my Wii and PS3 at 800
Sony failed miserably in price, although I know that the internal hardware of the PS3 is pricey.. it coulda done without it..
Ratingwise, I give PS3 a 6 because it didnt impress me, and I havnt had that much fun on it. I'll give Wii a 9, because I have no complaints except using AA's instead of replacable rechargables, and not having DVD support.
