you wont find anything on overheating Ps3 consoles anywhere! Just a few quacks like this one who just make stuff up. they have been holding up very well . this is pure fiction.

I left my system running for a week. A week!!! It did not overheat at all. Where did you get the story of the fuses burning? The PS3 is awesome as a media center. If the games catch up in a year, I would have made a great investment.

Nothing wrong with mine. Had it for over a month and used it everyday. I'm very very happy with this buy.
