Summary Overall great purchase for the money. Anyone that complains about no cd is an idiot. I have bought a cd in 10 years probably. Great launch titles great indie games. Netflix, red box, hulu plus. Sucks no HBO GO.
Pros -Outstanding controller
Cons -Unstable PSN (Probably release issue)
-Not much of a graphical improvement from PS3, but methods of playing the games have been greatly improved (E.G. Controllers and motion control, plus a lot more)
Summary Too bad people who don't have this awesome system ar.*are rating it down.

Pros Best specs inside a console, price tiered perfectly between competitors. Unlike the competition, you don't have to pay an extra fee to use a service you already pay for.
Cons Lack of functionality outside of gaming, bronze medal for controller design, and library won't appeal to many outside the hardcore gaming niche, plus a monthly fee for online gaming. Lack of a wow factor justifies its mid tier pricing.
Summary A great gaming and streaming device, but ecosystem, controller design, and lackluster launch titles may make it unappealing for non-gamers. As for gamers, this console as of now doesn't offer anything that can't be found in a much cheaper PS3 or Xbox 360. The boost in graphics is not yet worth the jump into the next generation for those who are cost conscious.
Of course this will evolve into a fine gaming console over time as more features are added/improved and price goes even further down. Within 6 months, I expect this console to definitely be 4.5/5 stars. But until then, you should stick to the past generation, whichever side you're on
Pros Games, price tag, it looks good?
Cons Features...or lack there of. Experiencing problems often when the apps try and connect to their servers.
""4 the Gamers""on by BalramRules
Pros 1) Focused solely on Gaming
2) Its online service, PS+, is an absolute bargain
3) Very friendly community
4) Great value for money
5) Many fab exclusives
6) Plenty of indie support
7) Most popular of this generation of consoles
Cons BBOD Hardware Failures exist, though <1% and also negligible compared to its direct competitor, the Xbox One (which is currently affecting a notorious amount of units)
Summary The PS4 is the most promising of the next-generation of consoles to release this year and has already surpassed 2 million units sold worldwide, compared to its competitor who just scraped 1 million (at the time of writing).
The PS4 does not force any unnecessary gaming accessories to buy with the console (such as its PSEye).
You can now download games in the background, or even play them, as they're downloading, for those titles that support this function.
PS+, which is PlayStation's Online Gaming service, not only provides Online Multiplayer, but gives a library of PS3/4/Vita titles for free, every month, so long as you remain subscribed, and has been centered around a social environment.
Along with all of that, Cross-Game Chat (aka Party Chat) has now made it to the PS4, and there will also be Cross-Platform Functionalities for select games/features, with smartphones/PS Vita/PS3s/PC.
Sony have reiterated on countless occasions that everything that is being done, is primarily all for the gamer, and everyone else is second, and have proved this point just as many times as they're reiterated it, through giving countless giveaways, games, rewards for loyalty, and so on.
With this console, you can replace the hard disk drive, without voiding the warranty, and has been made easy to do so, where all you have to look for, is the all-famous Golden PlayStation Screw, which is all you need to screw out and back in, with a Phillips Screwdriver.
Its specs are significantly greater than all of its competitors, to top it all up.
Sony is set to surpass 5 million units (PS4s) sold, on its FIRST Quarter of being released, and have set countless records worldwide, alongside with this PS4, it's set to be bundled with a PS Vita, and is already beginning to shift plenty of PS Vita units worldwide.
I predict that Sony's set to win this generation of console gaming, without any obstacles, as we all know, first impressions count, and PS4 has taken every opportunity to get it right, whilst Microsoft, to be frank, "messed it up" completely.
