Pros: The screen quality completely blows the puny ds or dsi out of the water all the way to the moon. Armed with 16.77 million different colors the psp can handle everything you throw at it.

Cons: Um i didn't like the fact that i couldn't get the old personns parental control off. Fingerprint magnet !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Summary: The psp is much more durable than that of the 3000 or 2000. I must have dropped mine once a week and not even a scratch. The screen as well was scracth proof in my case. The whole thing feels more durable than it's smaller comrades the 3000 and 2000.
Although this is a great system it's one of those things people are attracted to and will steal right off the spot. In my case it was stolen by some kid. I'm hoping to get another one for my birthday.
All in all buy it. you can allso buy replacement screens and analog sticks for cheap so if it breaks fix it, cause it's better than getting practically nothing for it at your local gaming store. Bottom line it's more durable than it's brothers so my pick is the classic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't be tricked by the prices get an original.
