The Bottom Line Technophiles will have lots of fun driving the 2006 Mazda MX-5 Miata on weekends but may get bored due to the average audio quality and the lack of electronics integration during daily drives. While not a tech powerhouse, the 2009 Mazda MX-5 Miata Grand Touring is one of the purest driving experiences on the road today. The 2007 Mazda MX-5 PRHT drives well and looks great. It doesn't come with much cabin gadgetry, and what is there disappoints, but its customer base is more likely to value RPMs over MP3s. The 2007 Honda S2000 is almost pure sports car, more suited for winding roads than trips to the grocery store or the daily commute. It's a car you will dream about driving while you're stuck in the office, and is best used for recreation. The 2006 Honda S2000 is a pure driver's car, designed for those who think that cabin entertainment starts and ends with a short-throw manual shifter. Some bizarre remote controls and a cramped cabin are all but forgotten when the open road beckons.
