"Cnet review commented uninformed.."
Pros: great lines with top up or down..
Cons: hmm..past vw reliability spotty
Summary: Ugly? Compared to the Toyo/Lexus, the PT Cruiser, and GM Compacts, this convertible is Miss America. You got to be kidding me, all the cars mentioned above look like putting the top down was an afterthough, which it probably was. Convertibles of late look like someone took an eraser and simply swept away the roofline. B O R I N G. I am not a VW fan, never owned one, probably never will but this car actually looks like it was meant to be be topless. Besides, where can you get a retractable hardtop for under $30K that seats 4 people. Mr. or Ms. Cnet reviewer, you need a remedial lession in auto design. This car may not be a 911 Targa, but it surely is the sharpest top down ride for us mortals to afford that has hit the streets in a long, long time.
