"A SLEEK, SEXY AND POWERFUL RIDE...EITHER WITH THE TOP UP OR DOWN!"
Pros: VERY WELL CRAFTED, NICE CHOICE OF MATERIALS
Cons: REAR-WINDOW VISIBILITY/BLIND SPOT ANNOYING
Summary: I LOVE MY EOS TI. THE "PROFESSIONAL" REVIEWER MISSED THE BOAT AND THE RIVER WITH HIS REVEIW OF THIS WONDERFUL NEW CAR.
CALLING IT AN UGLY DUCKLING IS NOT ONLY AN INSULT, BUT HIGHLY INACCURATE. THIS IS A VERY APPEALING AND SLEEK CAR...DEFINITELY A SWAN. HE ALSO SAID IT WOULD HAVE LIMITED APPEAL WITH IT'S HARD-TOP CONVERTIBLE DESIGN. I HAVE TO SAY HE IS AN IDIOT. THE WHOLE CONCEPT IS THE HARD-TOP CONVERT. I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED ONE, BUT STEERED CLEAR BECAUSE OF SAFTELY ISSUES AND VANDALS. PROBLEM SOLVED!
THIS IS A LITTLE CAR, BUT PERFORMS LIKE A MUCH LARGER VEHICLE. TONS OF POWER, CONTROL AND WONDERFUL FEATURES. I WISH MY DRIVE TO WORK WAS LONGER THAN 15 MINUTES!

I bought my EOS 2.0 (automatic) in May. I waited this long to write a review to be objective. I do not drive to work. Right now, I have driven approximately 1700 miles with the longest drive, one-way, of about 2.5 hours. The car totally performs as advertised. It is not a common car yet out there and when it is top down or in process of lowering/raising the top, people notice. With the top up is not a bad looking care either and some people still notice you because it does not look like a typical VW. I am also very pleased with the trunk space even with the top down. Last weekend we did $150 of groceries, including one gallon of milk, one gallon of OJ, and a two liter bottle of olive oil. All articles fit on the trunk. My son is about 6' 2" and he can ride reasonably comfortable in the back. He also has a spanish guitar with a hard case. It can fit in the trunk with with the top down easily because there is a compartment that allows the guitar neck to extend out through the back seat. So he can still ride in the back with the guitar.
From the grocery tag and the items listed above, you may have correctly guessed that I am heavy type. I find the seats comfortable but not plush. Plenty of seat control with power seats.
I never have had a convertible before. I am delighted and anticipate coming home and driving the car, specially when the temperatures are optimal. Noise control is good, and I hardly use the wind noise guard the car comes with. It does help control wind circulation in the cabin.
The clever system to raise and lower the top is very effective. With the top up, your windows lower slightly automatically as you open the doors so that the rubber seals are protected.
This baby sleeps in the garage. That way it is always shiny and ready to go!!
