The Bottom Line The 2008 BMW M3 Convertible delivers an exceptional driving experience. The M3's double-clutch transmission and cabin tech are first rate, but options quickly jack up the base price. The 2010 Infiniti G37 Convertible offers an excellent cabin tech package and fun sporting capabilities, but lacks some refinement for everyday driving. A fun, luxury roadster, the 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLK350 carries an excellent cabin tech suite and delivers aggressive performance, but those looking for a cruiser might find the SLK350 too much of a beast. The 2010 Lexus IS 350 C leans more to luxury than sport--remaining a very satisfying driver when not pushed too hard--and includes some very useful cabin tech features. Although not as hard-edged as some sports cars, the 2011 BMW Z4 sDrive35is provides plenty of driving fun and, except for the lack of cargo capacity, makes a fine daily driver.
