The Bottom Line The 2008 Mercedes-Benz CLK550 Cabriolet, while very enjoyable to drive, suffers from older cabin electronics. It has more than enough power and good performance characteristics, but for this kind of money, we would get something more up-to-date. The 2009 Mercedes-Benz SL550 is a big, expensive roadster with some nice aesthetic touches. It has practical features here and there, but this car is more about the statement it makes when you roll up to a restaurant or movie premiere. The 2007 Mercedes-Benz SL550 combines performance, technology, and luxury in respective measure, although it struggles to justify its $100,000 price tag. With its high-tech cabin, the 2010 Audi A5 Cabriolet is a comfortable cruiser, but it is not powerful enough to drive like a sports car. If you want and can afford an Aston Martin DB9, you will probably get one, no matter what anyone else says. But it's nice to know that the cabin electronics are modern enough for cell phones and iPods.
