    Pros: Great handling.
    Good performance.
    Timeless design
    Reliable.
One of the best convertible tops in the business.

    A classic.

    Cons: Limited cargo space.

Summary: The Mazda Miata is a modern day classic. It's the epitome of the everyman's sports car. It's efficient and reliable enough to be a daily commuter, but raw and light enough to be a serious sports car. Plus it's a bargain! There is no other car so track ready for less than 30K. (And it has a great aftermarket to boot. So with a little extra investment, you can build a beast.)

It doesn't have tech. So what? It doesn't need it. It's a sports car distilled to its essence. Nothing frivolous. That's exactly why drivers buy it.

Giving the Miata poor reviews for lack of tech features is like reviewing a chef's knife and panning it because it doesn't have bluetooth. It's not supposed to.
