ThermaPAK HeatShift Laptop Cooler notebook cooling pad

I noticed that my computer did seem cooler while playing a computer game that takes a lot of memory to process, but not long after I began using the ThermaPak (a month), my mother board had to be replaced by my warranty due to taking massive heat damage to the video card. Could've been because I've been using my laptop for three years now and haven't always used the ThermaPak. The tech who installed my new motherboard recommended that I buy a conventional cooling fan.
Please give this review some feedback.

"Cools a little at first, once warm doesn't"

Pros

Initial cool, but otherwise works no better than a blanket between laptop and legs.

Cons

Doesn't provide any on going cooling.

Summary

"Cools effectively and Comfortable to use"

Pros

So much better than my fan! This pad uses no power, creates no noise (fanless) and is very effective in cooling my laptop. I didn't know what to expect but I am very happy with my purchase.

Cons

I wish they had more colors. I got the pink one but the only other colors were black or white.

Summary

I really like that It cools using cooling crystals that dissipate the heat away from your laptop and, unlike the fan products, it will never break on me! :)
