solid phone, good range - bad sound quality

Pros: many features, solid phone, good range

Cons: bad sound quality

Review: We purchased this phone because we were pleased with the MD361 we had purchased earlier. Both phones have a solid feel and seem well-built. We were particulary interested in the MD751 because it can accomodate several handsets. The MD751, however, has short battery life. There is also a lot of static. The ability to clearly hear a conversation takes precedence over all other features with a telephone so I give this phone a very low rating. I would expect much better quality for the cost of this phone. I have an inexpensive Uniden with better quality sound.

A little on the expensive side, but worth it

Pros: Clear sound, Clean looks, Decent range, Expandable to 8 handsets

Cons: Slightly expensive

Review: I bought this phone (and two extra Motorola MD71 handsets) to use with our newly-activated Vonage telephone service. Thus far, I have no complaints about clarity or range, and the expandability to eight handsets is nice. The only caveat right now is the price tag.

Good looks, bad quality sound

Pros: great looking phone small base easy to press buttons menu interface is pretty easy to use Extra ring tones

Cons: had lots of interference and noise on the line. Voice in the handset was hard to understand headset mic volume too low for other person to hear well NiCad battery and battery life short speaker phone quite, not clear sensitive to interference

Disappointing Sound Quality

Pros: Attractive, selection of ringer tones, speakerphone, wall mount

Cons: Scratchy, hollow sound through earpiece. Signal seems to fade out at times. Disappointing performance for the money. I'm taking it back.

Fun phone, poor reception

Pros: Customizable ring tones for all your callers.

Cons: Poor reception, sometimes caller sounds so garbled you can't understand what they're saying. Must customize each phone individually.

funtions and gadgets, and its a phone

Pros: lots of functions, the conferencing, intercom, room monitor, transfer calls to other handsets... rings sound good, more than a boring ring. individualised tones for phone book callers. battery back up for power failure.

Cons: battery life not that great, not terrible but expected more. I don't talk much so it wont be a problem. but I do play with the features, so I could kill the battery that way.
