"Good idea, but very bad execution by Motorola"
Pros: The Product fills a void in using cell phones easily at home. Instead of being a geek, with your cell phone strapped to your waist,, you can retreive a call through extensions throughout the house.
Cons: Motorola customer service is non-existent. Questions on the use of the dock could not be answered.
Summary: The cell dock call quality is not very good, with much static when placing calls through the dock. The product appears to be not quite ready for sale as no one at Motorola could really answer questions about how to improve the quality of the call. A small wire is shown in the owner's manual and included with the dock but its use is not explained in the manual or by CSR's working for Motorola. It is thought the wire might be used for a direct connection between phone and dock, but when that is done, the audio from the person who was called disappears. No one at Motorola could explain why that happens or what to do to improve the call quality.
