Panasonic KX TG9331T (cordless phone - answering system with caller ID/call waiting)

I hate this phone, it is very un-reliable. When I try to answer the phone, sometimes it will just go blank, like it is shorting out. Then, I put it back on the base and it says it needs to charge for 7h...even though it had a full charge just moments before. I can be on a call using my headset, set the handpiece down and lose the entire call...it just shuts off and goes blank. This is with all three headsets. I have had good luck with Panasonic in the past which is why I bought this phone. I am shocked and how bad this phone is.

I kind of HATE these phones! Every time I try to listen to my msgs. the phones (all 3) die when the voice starts. It used to be that if I covered all possible noise exits for the hansets and the voice started, it would be ok. So, I figured it was some kind of "feedback"? problem. Now that doesn't even work. When I first got them, I had a problem with them suddenly "dying" with a full charge. I called Panasonic and they said I had to "reset" it by unplugging it. I did that a lot! Now, it doesn't even matter. They rarely work. I had thrown the box away by the time I had had it and thought that returning them would be a pain. I really wish I had done that because I can't afford to replace them anymore. I will NEVER buy another panasonic phone or product ever again!

It also dies when I try to answer the phone. Also says can't find base, charge for 7 hours. These phones are lemons. They need to be recalled!

I purchased my original phone in March 2009. Had to have it replaced in June 2009 because all handsets kept shutting off while dialing or answering the phone and one handset display was faded and did not change when fully charged. It is now February 2011, the phone is 1 yr. 8 mos. old and again the same thing shutting off.
