"Stay away. Move along."
Pros: Outweighed by the cons.
Cons: Drops calls randomly, whether cell or landline calls. Developed lots of static. And Caller ID announce is unintelligible and useless.
Summary: As I said, it drops calls randomly and has developed static, and these things make it useless. Pros are just not worth mentioning at all because it has no opportunity to show them to you. Additionally, I got very used to a previous phone system with Caller ID (number) announce, and that actually became an important feature to me (take my word for it, once you start using it, you'll never want to go back). This phone claimed the ability to announce the actual name of the caller (either based upon the official Caller ID name, or else it pronounces the name you've entered into the phonebook and associated with that number). This feature is next to useless, since nothing the phone says is intelligible. I've seen a few text-to-speech devices - my Garmin GPS that pronounces street names, my LG cell phone that allows me to voice dial and asks me, in its own voice, if I meant to dial "So and so" - and they work far, far better than this does. Just bad software. Please don't buy this phone.
