Pros Relatively inexpensive. Expandable system, and they can be found in all of the major chain stores in my area so I knew I wouldn't have trouble finding add-on handsets or replacement batteries.
Cons Looks, feels more like a remote control. Battery doesn't last long. There is a long pause when you answer a call, so you have to wait before saying "hello", or the person won't hear you. Drops calls, in the same room, within feet of the base station.
Summary Our previous cordless phone was a Uniden and it served us well for a really long time, so I wanted to get another Uniden. This seemed like a popular, affordable (thought not *cheap*) model, and the ability to add another handset appealed to me. But the performance is really disappointing. Looking to replace it.
