"Nice looking phone..."
Pros: Sleek, Good price, Sound quality great, no interference...
Cons: Few features, no speaker phone on base, can't retreive messages from handset...
Summary: If what you're looking for is an inexpensive basic DECT phone, this is the one for you. Purchased at Costco, 3 handsets for $99.99. The sound quality is great, it looks good and the blue backlight on the display and keypad is nice. The problem is there are not enough features. It seems that VTech may have rushed this out to capitalize on the new technology. I've seen other phones (more expensive) that have the ability to copy phonebooks from handset to handset, not this one! You have to manually enter your contacts on each handset. The ringtones are basic, nothing exciting. No speaker phone on base. You can't retrieve messages from the handset. All in all, it's a good basic phone but I yearn for the extras. I think I'll return this and wait for more options. Hope this helps.

I wanted to comment that the phone's speakerphone feature is on the handset, is it not, so it's not as if there is no speaker at all. Also on the ability to retrieve calls from the handset, can you recommend a cordless that you like that can do this?
