"Don't throw your money away"
Pros: Features for a year
Cons: Features for a year until the phone is retired
Summary: I spent $500 on 2- 20-2481 dual line phones and a extension phone in Sept of 2004 from VTECH. Today repair parts are not available and the original $80 extension phone can cost you anywhere from $100 -$299. It will replace a handset yes but you can buy an entirely new set for the cost of a extension handset today. This is the 2nd time VTECH has ended support or parts solutions on a phone less than 3 years old on me and the last. Of course they offered a token and putrid $30 if I bought a new system while on the phone. Yes technology changes but support your year old products. I threw away $500 not even 13 months ago. Don't be a sucker for the features BUY from someone who stands behind their equipment.
