"More fun than anything this price has a right to be!"
Pros: Handling, performance for fuel economy, smile factor.
Cons: Odd stalk layout. Wagon back design ensure a filthy tail.
Summary: There are few automobiles that are the equal of the MCS. Are there faster ones? Sure. Better handling? Of course. Better fuel economy? Undoubtedly. More fun? A few. So what makes the MINI so special then? It is extraordinarily well balanced. It has the right amount of chassis for engine, the correct amount of creature comfort for price, the appropriate amount of tactile precision for a road car. Designing and building a car is a series of compromises. The ones selected here sum up to a package that for the $$$ is unmatched by any other car I've personally owned and I've owned quite a few. If you value the driving experience and have to have a car that puts a smile on your face every time you get in it, this is your car.
