"10/10 for use in Germany; 4/10 for use in the U.S."
Pros: Impressive features, performance and looks
Cons: much too expensive, and used more as an image car than a serious road car
Summary: In Germany, this car can be used to cruise at 130mph while listening to your stereo without wind noise. And its drivers will do that. But in the U.S., it doesn't do anything that a Mustang Cobra or other car in that class can't do, at half the price or less, even after adding $10-15K of tech and performance goodies to match the Benz' features. But worst of all, most Cobra drivers will occasionally use their car's capabilities, while the average CL550 driver will buy this car as an around town image car only. Still, in ten years, this will be a great collector's car if you don't mind the outrageous cost of parts and service.
