The BEST Hybrid Car in America

Pros: Most Advanced, Best MPG, Usable!

Cons: Rear view before learning to use and trust the rear view camera!

Review: The Toyota Prius if the best Hybrid vehicle available in American today. It has more room, better build quality, and better performance than any of the older technology companies such as Honda, Nissan, GM and Ford. As a matter of fact, many of those companies use Toyota's old generation 1 technolgy under license.

I like the fact that I can fit my wife and three kids in the car for around town driving. I can fit all of my camera gear in the back with the seats folded down...I used to use an 8 MPG 4X4 truck for that!

I like the fact that it's operation is so seamless and I can just get out and go nearly anywhere with my Prius. I know many people want fully electric plug in cars. I like that idea too...but they have VERY limited range. And it takes quite a bit of time to rechage them. With Toyota's Hybrid Synergy Drive, you are essentially self contained while you sip gas.

Yes, there is a strong premium to pay for the Prius right now. And it may not make financial sense compared to some of Toyota's other fuel sipping cars, but it works perfectly for me and many others! I found some great information at out local dealers website and would like to provide a link so you guys can see even more great information: http://centennialtoyota.com/toyota_hybrid_las_vegas.htm

A Dream of a Car

Pros: MPG!!!, Small on the outside big on the inside, gadgets--a giant mobile computer game

Cons: Needs a more user friendly manual that condenses the warnings and explains the car more clearly

Review: I have been driving for one week and with ease and averaging 48 MPG. While one can consult the mileage screens to learn more, that is not necessary.

While procedures such as starting need some getting used to, the car is easy to drive. Complaints about acceleration do not ring true to me--although I am a light footed driver. Also, some say that the steering is strange--I do not understand why.

The turning radius is great. Rear vision takes a bit of getting used to and a TV camera for parking helps.

I originally was going to buy this for my son but i so enjoy the car that I was delighted to give him my Volvo S-60. While there may be a small trade off for 'luxury' there is a big trade off for the pleasure of driving that this car provides. And every time I am stuck in traffic, I know that I am using less than have the gas that I had been for the same trips.

Top-notch engineering; very fun to drive

Pros: super fuel efficient; cool technologies and gadgets

Cons: You have to pay extra for XM Radio installation (even though it says "XM ready").

Review: If your time has come for a new car, you really should think about greenhouse gases and what you can do about it. For the time being, Prius is the best choice if you're concerned. It can also save you a lot on gas.

I thought it would be a sacrifice, but the Prius is actually very fun to drive. I don't feel deprived even after being used to a Cadillac CTS. (Well, maybe a little.) I got option package #6 with a really good sound system (minus XM radio :(), GPS navigation with voice commands, Bluetooth, vehicle stability control, backup camera, smart key, leather seats, and some other stuff.

I find that a lot of younger people think the car is "cool", and it turns a lot of heads when you pull into a Whole Foods. :)
