| The Bottom Line | The poor cabin electronics in the 2008 Volkswagen R32 keep it from being a great tech car, but its drivetrain tech makes up somewhat for that lost ground. However, there are many good sport sedans that come in around the same price. | Without many of the options our test car came loaded with, the 2007 Volkswagen GTI represents a very sporty car for a great price. But the added expense and the inferior cabin electronics drag the car down. | A sporty looking coupe, the 2010 Nissan Altima Coupe 2.5 S proves reasonably fun to drive, while offering a smattering of good cabin tech for entertainment and navigation. | The 2009 Nissan GT-R is a technical tour de force, with evidence of brilliance throughout. We would have a hard time with the GT-R as an everyday driver, but it offers fun and exhilaration at heart-stopping levels. | |
