"These CNET Reviewers Don't Ever Do Their Homework"
Pros: Fantastic gas mileage, very accurate navigation in a subcompact car, enormous space, great visibility, smooth manual shifter, great steering feel and handling, quiet ride for a car in this class, sporty looking (sport model), stability control
Cons: Rear drum breaks, no lumbar support, no moonroof option, stereo could be better, very susceptible to strong cross winds on the highway, no outside temperature display, no auto-dimming rear-view mirror option.
Summary: Oh man these CNET car reviewers are a piece of work. I also own a 2009 Hyundai Sonata and these buffoons had a bunch of inaccuracies in that review as well (on top of the fact is was a poorly written car review). I really can't believe these people did not verify the mileage computer by manual calculation of fuel consumption. If they had they would have learned what every 09 Fit owner knows, the mileage computer is optimistic by 4 to 5 mpg. Instead these fools gush about it and take it as gospel.
That's a good way to get a bunch of people real pissed off at you. People will read their review and think "wow, amazing gas mileage" and buy a Fit based on this review only to learn what the rest of us Fit owners know. The Fit DOES get outstanding gas mileage (I'm averaging 37.7 mpg calculated by hand) but not the kind of mileage the instant computer reads.
I really wish these CNET reviewers would research their product a little more instead of rushing to get their reviews out. Their inaccuracies make them seem very amateurish. CNET should stick to reviewing computers and computer equipment I think, auto's are out of their league.
