    Pros: Handling
    Braking
Styling (subjective really, but I think its great)
    Balance
    Practicality

    Cons: Lacks low end torque
Requires owner to be somewhat competent in routine car maintainance
    Poor fuel economy

Summary: These cars are a blast to drive! The low end torque issue really isn't an issue if you know how to drive the car right. This engine was built to rev high, and sounds/feels awesome doing it.

This is a drivers car, so I don't think knocking it for lack of technology is really fair. You should buy this car if you enjoy driving. I regularly turn off my stereo because sometimes I'd rather listen to the engine than to whatever is on the radio.

If you're comparing this car to a honda civic or ford focus, then yes, the fuel economy is terrible. But if you compare it to other sports cars in its class, the fuel economy is average. Also, the oil consumption is really a non-issue. It isn't too hard to add 1/4 quart of oil every other re-fuel, and the rotary engine is worth this small inconvenience.
