  • "Great car, awesome handling"
    on by jttabencki

Pros Tight handling, versatile hatch, great engine

Cons Rough ride on bad roads, a little thirsty in the city

Summary I traded in my 08 r32 for this car because I missed having a stick and 4 doors. Best performance in this price range. I don't feel much torque steer in the first few gears unless I floor. Definitely would get this car again.

  • "Best car I have ever drove!"
    on by tylerw654

Pros Everything except the 2 small cons below that are not deal breakers.

Cons - Limited power and torque and 1st and 2nd gear
    - Would like all wheel drive but I understand that is what keeps its price down

Summary I would buy this car again in a second

  • "Wow!!! Hot hatch"
    on by galens47

Pros Torque is my friend. The leather/cloth seats are very nice. I like the view over the intercooler and hood scoop. 3-6.5k powerband makes for very fast acceleration at speed. Cornering is a dream, seeking windy roads for excellent adventures.

Cons The seats are a bit narrow. Shifter travel from 2nd to 3rd is further than I like or expect. The clutch is grabby and starting from a stop takes patience and lots of practice to make it right. 1 and 2nd are torque limited.

Summary This is my 1st new car and I am very happy with it. I average 26mpg and love to drive it. I have the Black Mica and the color seems to shift from different angles. The navigation screen is small but quite usable. It is located just below my field of vision making it very convenient to see.

I often get remarks from people: "what is that?" or "I've never heard of that car". It is a sleeper on the highway. Though you are at risk of ticketing.. :-( Careful going from 60-90, it does it very quickly. The hood scoop and intercooler work better at speed and are more efficient.

For exciting hot starts and power runs turn off the DSC and watch your MPG drop to 3. So much fun its worth it.

The roominess with the seats down has been great and I was able to move lots of stuff. This car is a perfect balance of usability and flash, like a race car tucked into a 5 door hatchback. Buy it, you wont be let down. Happy Driving and Passing!

  • "My favorite car to date"
    on by kris_1978

Pros i enjoy the power for passing, the brakes for stopping and the bluetooth for all things phone.

Cons I dont like the IPod intergration or lack thereof. nav screen is small

Summary I love this car, it is my commuter car and i average just short of 30 mpg, i get 1 mpg over my 4 cylinder Fusion. The cars performance overall will have anyone smile, i dont fee any lag in the turbo, and the engine pulls strong. the brakes are great, not on the level of my S2000 of years back but they macke my old Fusion feel dangerous. I love the Bluetooth for the ability to hands free call as wel as play music off my Iphone. In the end. I can deal with the few blah portions of the car and the use of high octane for the fun factor of driving everyday. I was looking for another S2000 type auto and I found one with more space to carry people.
