"Outstanding, Practical sports car"4.5 starson by ScottDSmith
Pros: Acceleration, styling and fun
Summary: Great sports car with all the sports car quirks you'd expect of higher end cars like Porsche or BMW. In fact, I drove a BMW Z4 and didn't like it anywhere near as much as this Z. I'm pleased that this vehicle has shed all the weight and evolved into a real 21st century sports car with reasonable gas mileage for the everyday commute but power to spare when called upon.
Sure, I'm older now and can actually afford to buy a Porsche 911 but it simply did not make sense once I drove the 370Z. I bought the base car, automatic 7 speed, with sports package. I then purchased a great stereo system to upgrade it from Crutchfield online and I have a very satisfying performance car that doesn't break the bank. I also swapped out the original equipment summer rated tires for new Continental DWS, 50k miles rated, all season performance rubber. OK, not exactly the same ride but 90% of it and with the Ohio weather....well worth it.
In short, I love my car and so does everyone else it would appear as I'm constantly asked about it when I stop for coffee or gas. Pretty in red...what can I say?
