Pros: Not having to buy gasoline. Not having to get jerked around by a sloppy transmission. Not having all that noise (and smells) from the ICE. Instant torque. Regenerative braking that mimics compression braking lets one drive with a single pedal.

Cons: Having to answer stupid questions about fires that only happened in testing. Seeing all the negative press from the right against one of the most innovative cars to come out of Detroit, as if using gasoline is somehow patriotic.

Summary: Being able to drive for a year on 1.9 gallons is indescribable.
I only know the price of gas because I had to use my truck this month to haul stuff.

I did like the Fox story with the graphic "30 Million Volts in 10 years = 694,774,775 barrels of oil saved per year = 103% of oil imported from Mideast OPEC per year". Bet the guy that made that got fired!
