"Affordable compact AWD fun"4.0 starson by skepticaleye
Pros: Fun, solid handling
CVT performance and economy
comfortable, roomy interior
good build quality
Cons: average electronics
Summary: We own a Premium hatch with moonroof, alloy wheels, and winter package. Love the versatility and utility of this car; it's built for an active lifestyle. The CVT is in most ways superior to traditional and dual-clutch automatics. CNet's review strikes us as mostly on the money, although we find the handling solid and reassuring, and nearly the equal of the Ford Focus.
Fuel economy is everything we hoped for. At 4,000 miles, we're getting 30.5 mpg in suburban driving, 33 mpg on I-70 in the mountains of Colorado up to 11,000 feet.
Yes, the electronics are rather ordinary. At least they are not plagued with Ford's MyFordTouch problems.
