"Buyer Beware of ALIENWARE Products"
Pros: One of the tech support people I spent hours on the phone with was nice-
Cons: The worst customer service in history!

AWFUL-Alienware-an EXPENSIVE farce! BEWARE!!!
I can't agree with the last poster more-I have NEVER been treated so badly as a customer by ANY company in my life.
Do a web search on Alienware complaints-in the last few months they have made a LOT of people very angry. I can't even begin to describe what I have been through with these guys-in short, I have a +4200$ charge on my credit card for nearly 60 days for a computer that NEVER WORKED-delivered with MANY problems. When I tried to return it they threatened me with a nearly 700$ restocking fee- Again, this machine NEVER worked!
My advice-Stay as far away from this company as you possibly can.

Only thing buyers need to beware of is people who flame a company for other than honorable purposes. Aliens warranty limited yes to one year has always been there for me...I agree with CNET i GIVE THEM EVEN MORE..8.0...

Yea this guy really sounds like a load. I just got my alienware computer in and the only road block i have ran into was that the power SW had disconnected at some point in shipping. Every time i have call/asked for help they have been great (I also have a laptop i have made calls with). Sounds more like your one of the "computer nerds" who have no idea how to work the computer and are better off with a HP or maybe a E-box.

I think you're one of those people that just post bad review for the heck of it. In an other post you said you never received your system and got your money back.
I think your lying.
I usually build my own, but I wanted to avoid all the time and trouble researching and shopping parts.
Alienware underbid dell and Falcon Northwest for the same configuration.
I bought the computer it came on time the one graphics problem I did have was fixe after a couple of calls. It was due to the BFG video cards and flashing their BIOS (the proceedure explianed to me very well) fixed the problem.
Gaming systems are usually less stable anyway because of overclocking and avanced BOIS features. To buy one to run Word.
